Guards play hooky; high school computers vanish

A high school heist in Kampong Thom’s Santuk district saw 10 computers disappear in a nighttime burglary.

The principal arrived at the school in the morning and was shocked to find the computer room broken into and the machines missing.

Coincidentally, the security guards who watched the school were absent, having asked for the day off.

Given the size of the haul, police suspect the heist was a team effort.
