Gullible girls too keen to make easy money

Two sisters in the capital had a rocky ride on Wednesday after being duped by the promise of riches.

Police reported that three suspects devised a plot whereby two women intercepted the teenage siblings on their motorcycle and invited them to collect a bag containing $400 cash as well as gold.

But when the girls seized the offer and travelled with a man posing as a motodop to a secluded area, they found the sack to contain only rocks.

Upon their downcast return to the meeting point, the women had vanished along with their motorcycle. The schemers are being sought by police.
