Gun-toting moto jackers make off with a Honda

A couple found themselves the victims of a stickup on Tuesday in Phnom Penh’s Chroy Changvar district, losing a new Honda moto in the process.

As they headed for home, four men on two motos pulled alongside, threatening them and demanding they abandon their Honda.

They refused; prompting one of the robbers to produce a gun and shoot the male driver.

The noise alerted people nearby, causing the moto-mounted miscreants to flee. The victim is recovering in hospital.
