A young woman and her motorbike were parted after a night of clubbing in the wee hours yesterday.

Police said the 21-year-old had left a nightclub about 4am and was driving in search of a guesthouse to sleep it off when two men on a motorbike approached, produced a pistol and ordered her off her bike.

Wisely, she complied, though marched to police straight after the incident and filed a complaint.
