Gun-toting thieves take cheap shot at cashier

Police are hunting for two men who shot and robbed a young karaoke cashier as she rode home from work in Phnom Penh’s Tuol Kork district on Sunday.

The woman, 25, was shot in the buttock at about 4:30am as she attempted to flee the thieves, and was later taken to hospital by relatives.

The men, who escaped on motorbikes, stole her motorbike, mobile phone, necklace and handbag. KOH SANTEPHEAP
