Hands up, hoes down as cousins drop dime

A family spat allegedly turned into a hoe attack in Banteay Meanchey’s Sisophon town on Saturday. According to police, a 28-year-old woman had a bit too much to drink before visiting her cousins.

Upon seeing her state, the cousins criticised her drinking, enraging the woman, who allegedly grabbed a nearby hoe and struck her cousins on their heads and bodies. Neighbours intervened and called police, who arrested the hoe-wielding woman. KOH SANTEPHEAP
