Haste makes waste, but for thieves it has benefits

A 32-year-old alleged home intruder with a poor sense of timing was caught in the act on Tuesday.

The suspect worked as a construction worker near the victim’s home in Kandal’s Sa’ang district.

When the worker saw no one was at home one night, he broke into the house and attempted to bag valuables.

The homeowner returned before the burglar could escape and shouted to neighbours to help restrain the man until police arrived to intervene. KAMPUCHEA THMEY
