Her man for a grand

A jilted girlfriend in Phnom Penh’s Por Sen Chey district on Wednesday skipped the usual fisticuffs and used her brain to trap a philandering lover.

The 40-year-old man, a security guard at a private firm, had shacked up with the 30-year-old woman for a year when he convinced her to buy him a motorbike.

He then took off with another squeeze for a week-long tryst. His girlfriend discovered the infidelity and agreed to pay him $1,000 to get the bike back.

When the man turned up, he found his girl had a few new friends – police officers – who promptly arrested him on fraud charges. NOKORWAT
