Hit-and-run driver ruled drunk on love

A drunken driver more attentive to his attractive companion than the road on Monday night found a sympathetic ear in the justice system.

The distracted lovebird didn’t notice an oncoming moto while driving through Phnom Penh’s Sen Sok district and crashed head-on with three men.

The drunk driver tried to flee the accident, but police caught up before he could escape. The victims were hospitalised, and police decided they wouldn’t make an arrest for the hit and run. KOH SANTEPHEAP
