A motorbike rider is grateful to have his life after colliding with the back of a car on Tuesday night in Phnom Penh’s Sen Sok district.

Both vehicles were travelling at high speeds, the motorbike trailing close behind the car, when the car suddenly slowed.

The rider lost consciousness from the collision, while the driver fled the scene.

After discovering him lying in the middle of the street, police took the injured man to the hospital.
