A 24-year-old man in Kratie town was arrested on Monday for breaking into a home.

Police said the suspect, a construction worker employed nearby, used a few of his tools to make his way into the house while the owner was away.

However, when the victim arrived to find a strange man in his house, he hollered for help, and neighbours responded.

A beatdown ensued, but police arrived in time to arrest the suspect.
