Home renovations and alcohol don’t mix well

A home in Kandal’s Sa’ang district is lucky to still be standing after a farmer began dismantling the place in a drunken tantrum on Monday.

Police said the 28-year-old had drunk a litre of alcohol with relatives when he grabbed his father’s mobile.

When dad took it back, the man flipped, dragging a cupboard onto the balcony and sending it crashing to the ground.

Sobering up at the police station later, the man blamed the booze for his antics. KOH SANTEPHEAP
