Homeowner tells cops of unwelcome intruder

A woman living in Phnom Penh’s Sen Sok district was lucky to have heard an intruder breaking into her home on Tuesday to try and steal belongings.

The man had a meat cleaver and had snuck into the house while the woman was sleeping. When she woke, he attacked her but she managed to escape and call for help from neighbours.

The man, a construction worker, was arrested and said he had been broke for days. KAMPUCHEA THMEY
