Police responding to the pleas of a terrified wife arrested a 47-year-old Phnom Penh man yesterday in Chroy Changvar district.

Having destroyed his own house in a fit of rage the previous day, the man lacked his usual emotional outlet.

So when he began to fly off the handle, he pursued his wife next door where she had sought help, and began destroying his neighbour’s house.

Police were soon on the scene to arrest the man for domestic abuse.
