Hospital no sanctuary from man’s sick crime

A man received bad karma after he, according to police, attempted to steal from sick patients and their unsuspecting relatives in Phnom Penh yesterday.

The man, 40, snuck into the Preah Kossamak Hospital where he went looking for money to steal, police said.

After finding $180 in the bag of a sleeping woman visiting her sick brother, he allegedly stole the cash and was mid-escape when the woman screamed.

Hospital security guards stopped the man and he was turned over to police. KOH SANTEPHEAP
