Hot bikes equal likely jail time for pawn duo

Shooting the messenger might be passé, but it seems that arresting pawnbrokers over the theft of two motorbikes isn’t.

Military police swooped in on a pawn shop in Banteay Meanchey’s Poipet town on Sunday, arresting two men, aged 40 and 49, for receiving two motorbikes stolen from a market on Friday.

The suspects pleaded ignorance of the bikes’ provenance but police arrested them anyway. KOH SANTEPHEAP
