Hunger pangs prove moto thief’s undoing

An empty stomach got the better of one moto thief on Tuesday when he stopped to chow down after making off with a farmer’s bike in Tbong Khmom province’s Tbong Khmom district.

The hapless opportunist told police he thought he was all clear after checking over his shoulder and noticing the owner hadn’t given chase.

The bike was confiscated and the 35-year-old grifter was sent to be charged at the provincial court. DEUM AMPIL
