If you choose to rob, you face the mob, man finds

A suspected robber accused of stealing from a money changer got a taste of mob justice in Svay Rieng town on Saturday.

Police said that the victim was resting behind his house in the afternoon when the alleged burglar took the opportunity to break his window and take 5 million riel (about $1,250) hidden within.

A neighbour saw him and yelled for help, which quickly materialised.

Police arrived to break up the vigilante mob and arrest the suspect, who was seriously injured.

He was sent to the hospital, and will soon be sent to court.
