Injury to insult: woman dupes then knifes man

An English teacher fell victim to a surprise knife attack in Phnom Penh’s Tuol Kork district yesterday.

The unlucky foreigner had brought a woman back to his rental room, only for her to take out a knife and stab him in the left side of his chest.

They struggled until the woman’s real lover arrived and took $200 from the bloodied Englishman, who soon passed out.

Neighbours summoned the police and an ambulance to take the victim to Calmette Hospital.
