Jailhouse acoustics a perfect for lo-fi crooks

Two men in Phnom Penh’s Sen Sok district will face the music for trying to steal a deputy village chief’s multimedia equipment.

The suspects, one unemployed, the other a street vendor, crept into the house of the deputy chief of Obaek Kha-am village and took a speaker, an amplifier and a DVD player.

The owner of the house saw the men on their way out and phoned the police. Arriving cops arrested the suspects.
