A jaywalking cow costs farmer $150

Why did the cow cross the road? A Phnom Penh farmer was left asking that after his wandering heifer caused a motorbike crash on Tuesday.

Driving through Por Sen Chey district, a motorist was unable to stop in time and slammed into the beast walking on the street.

Injured, the driver demanded $250 from the animal’s owner, who showed up an hour later.

Bystanders noted the herd was a perennial nuisance in the area, and the conflict was ended when $150 was forked over.
