Jealous lover sees rival gets his point

A Battambang town wedding incited more ill-fated revenge than romance on Sunday.

A 23-year-old villager saw his girlfriend talking to another man at the nighttime wedding party and, in a fit of jealousy, went home and retrieved his samurai sword.

When the villager left his house in the morning, the jealous lover was waiting for him, and attacked until neighbours intervened.

Questioned by police, the victim swore he and the girl were just friends. DEUM AMPIL
