A farmer in Kandal province’s Sa’ang district should have seen this one coming. As he tended to his rice paddy on Tuesday, a 35-year-old man sidled up on a bicycle.
The farmer’s moto, parked by the roadside, must have looked attractive to the tired cyclist, as he promptly discarded his ride and sped off on the farmer’s.
Police tracked down the stolen moto to a local pawn shop, which had bought it for $100 from the suspect. He was arrested and sent to court for questioning. KOH SANTEPHEAP
