Keen cops give dealers something to chew on

Kandal province cops proved too astute for a pair of drug dealers in Lvea Em district on Monday, after foiling the duo’s attempt to conceal their meth in a chewing gum wrapper during a routine search.

The man, 27, and woman, 19, had aroused suspicion by acting shiftily as they walked from village to village, before police moved in and asked to check their pockets.

Once the drugs were uncovered, police said the pair quickly confessed they were planning to sell their illicit wares in a nearby village.
