A man who was having a kick-about with five mates in Banteay Meanchey’s Poipet district on Monday ended up being hospitalised simply because he hurt another player’s foot.

The footsore party lost his rag and demanded an apology. When this wasn’t forthcoming, he became so enraged that he got his friends to attack his defiant opponent with stones.
