A Kandal man got the ultimate rude awakening on Saturday, courtesy of an axe. Police said the man had gotten into an argument at a village dance party before returning home, where he decided he’d sleep downstairs in a hammock due to the heat.

Unfortunately, the man he’d feuded with had followed him and attacked him at about midnight. The suspect bolted after striking the victim five times, but not before the wife was able to identify him. Police are now on the lookout. KAMPUCHEA THMEY
