KNY starts on high note for Anlong Veng addict

In Oddar Meanchey, it was simple drug abuse rather than dealing that brought the cops around.

According to police, a 21-year-old in Anlong Veng was out of control and getting violent on Wednesday when they got the call from his distressed farmer parents.

After taking him in, he tested positive for drug use. He won’t be sent to jail, but a stay in one of the country’s widely decried drug “rehabilitation” centres is in the works.
