KTV crooning tab to be paid with time in stir

Using the time-honoured barter system, two men in Oddar Meanchey’s Anlong Veng district swapped a motorbike for a hefty tab at a karaoke parlour on Monday night, where hours of drinking and singing truly awful pop songs added up to more than $200.

One problem: the bike wasn’t theirs to trade. The men, aged 26 and 32, had allegedly borrowed it from their 22-year-old friend. Seeing that his ride wasn’t coming back, he complained to the police, who arrested the men. NOKORWAT
