Lack of sportsmanship leads to mob justice

A gang-beating broke out in Kratie town on Friday following a casual football match in which a 34-year-old man kicked another player’s foot.

When the enraged man demanded an apology, the victim refused.

After the match, the suspect called on his friends to help attack the offending player with rocks, hospitalising him with head and back injuries.

The group escaped without arrest.
