In another incident of petty thievery, this time in Banteay Meanchey, a 27-year-old on Tuesday allegedly smashed the window of a car in Poipet to steal a laptop inside.

The car and laptop owner was inside his home when he heard the noise outside and realised what was happening. He yelled for help and a neighbour made a citizen’s arrest.
