Laundry-day drunkard bags clothes-snatchers

The allure of fresh laundry proved too strong for two villagers in Kratie town, as did the allure of revenge for the man accused of beating them up for stealing clothes from his clothesline.

Police reported that on Sunday they arrested a distinctly tipsy 27-year-old who had unleashed his ire on two thieves after they raided his line.

The culprits admitted that they have used the man’s clothes for some time, but promised to pay him back.
