A poorly aimed stone might have a marriage on the rocks in Takeo’s Samrong district.

Police said a squabble with a neighbour led a husband to pick up a rock and hurl it – just in time to hit his wife in the back as she attempted to intervene.

The mortified husband, taken in for questioning, has said the whole thing is one big misunderstanding. The wife, now recovering in hospital, may not have such a generous assessment. Koh Santepheap
