Lock-breaking attempt could lead to lock-up

Teuk Chhou district police in Kampot province caught a man, 19, allegedly attempting to break into a home on Friday. The suspect was using a hammer to try and crack a lock when patrolling police spotted him.

After trying to flee, the suspect confessed, saying he was recently released from prison and couldn’t hold down a job. Police sent him to court, where he is facing prison time again. RASMEI KAMPUCHEA
