Loud, law-abiding teens not behind crime wave

Rambunctious Phnom Penh youth were not, as police found out Monday night, the source of a Choam Chao crime wave but were merely being rowdy.

Receiving dual reports of a robbery and a loud group of 10 boys and girls loitering nearby, police connected the dots and surrounded the kids before hauling them in for questioning.

Alibis must have matched up, however, because the teens were sent on their way and cops went back to the drawing board in their search for the burglar.
