Lover’s joyride hits major trust roadblock

Daun Penh district police arrested a 32-year-old man on Tuesday afternoon after he pawned his live-in girlfriend’s motorbike.

Police said the man asked to borrow his girlfriend’s ride for a trip to Sorya Mall, but what she hadn’t anticipated was that he would wheel it to a hockshop.

Furious when he returned home bike-less, she filed a complaint with the police saying, unsurprisingly, she no longer trusts him.

The scallywag boyfriend has since been sent to the police station.
