A moto chase involving a six-strong, machete-wielding gang ended, predictably, with injuries on Saturday in Phnom Penh’s Chamkarmon district.

Four men got into a shouting match with six of their peers, police said, leading to a high-octane chase through the streets. The two victims, 20 and 22, smashed into a pile of bricks on the pavement, causing serious injuries.

The six suspects escaped on their motos. Police said they had not established a motive for the attempted attack, adding that the injured men were not wearing safety helmets. DEUM AMPIL
