Machetes add edge to already uneven odds

A man on his way home after dropping off his girlfriend was robbed and beaten by six men in Phnom Penh’s Daun Penh district yesterday.

The six blocked the man’s way, pointing their machetes at him and demanded he give up his motorbike – or else.

The man, 25, reluctantly agreed, but was still pushed and kicked to the ground. He informed police who are on the lookout for the suspects. KOH SANTEPHEAP
