‘Make-up powder’ made up by suspected dealers

Three women loitering on a dark street corner in the capital’s Daun Penh district caught the attention of police on Monday.

The cops’ suspicion that they were up to something nefarious was confirmed when someone approached and was handed a small package.

The police swooped and were unconvinced by the women’s initial story: that they were simply selling bags of “make-up powder”.

A brief search, however, soon turned up a package of drugs. KOH SANTEPHEAP
