Man almost caught in Poipet town honeypot

Banteay Meanchey’s Poipet town police arrested two men on Sunday for allegedly impersonating sex workers in order to seduce a man while they stole property from his car.

The victim had been waiting in his car for relatives around midnight when one man approached and asked if he needed a “massage”.

As the suspect coaxed the victim, the second man reached into the car and took a laptop, two phones, and $200.

As the men attempted a getaway on foot, police nearby arrested them.

They have since been sent to court.
