Man ends boozy night with a screwdriver

A night of boozing for seven construction workers went awry after two of them got into a dispute in the capital’s Choam Chao commune Sunday evening.

The argument quickly escalated into a violent row, with one of them grabbing a screwdriver and stabbing the other party, causing him to collapse and pass out.

The victim was sent to the hospital, while the suspect absconded – only to be arrested on Tuesday when he returned to his rental room.
