Man fights ATM, loses when its backup arrives

The phrase “ATM battery” should refer to a power supply. Not so in Cambodia, where a man was arrested for attempting to destroy an ATM on Tuesday evening in Phnom Penh’s Sen Sok district.

The man was seen beating the ATM with a stick by a nearby security guard, who then called for backup.

The suspect was not so bellicose once he realised 10 security guards had arrived to put a halt to his behaviour. The police then arrived and detained him.
