An evening jaunt to Diamond Island with some friends went somewhat pear-shaped for one Phnom Penh mechanic late on Monday night.
After bidding his pals adieu on the island, they each went their separate ways.
As he made his way home, 10 men on three desperately over-laden motos appeared behind the victim, then pushed him from his ride before making off with it.
The 23-year-old victim has filed a complaint with capital police.
