Man injured defending honour and motorbike

A construction worker ended up black and blue on Sunday night after he defended his sister and motorbike when confronted by a gang of thieves.

According to police, the man, 24, was escorting his sister back to her apartment in Phnom Penh on a motorbike when four men appeared, brandishing wooden sticks.

The worker refused to abandon his bike, taking on the robbers while his sister rushed to get help. The man later required hospitalisation but managed to hold off the gang. Nokorwat
