Man limps away with his head held high

In what may be considered a darkly ironic twist of fate, a local man may be sitting down for a while after standing up to a pair of thieves in the capital’s Chamkarmon district yesterday.

According to police, the man was riding his moto with his girlfriend when two men on another moto brandished a gun and demanded the bike.

The victim refused, only to be shot in the leg. The suspects made off with the bike, and the man was sent to hospital. Kampuchea Thmey
