Man pulls the ol’ ‘smash and grab’, gets grabbed

A game of finders-keepers didn’t work out so well for a 27-year-old in Banteay Meanchey’s Poipet town.

The man spotted a camera left on the seat of a car parked at a market on Tuesday.

With the car’s owner inside the market, the man allegedly broke the car window with a rock, snatched the device and tried to flee, but was spotted by shoppers, who detained him until police could make an arrest. KOH SANTEPHEAP
