Man seriously injured in head-on collision

A 30-year-old moto rider was badly injured in a hit-and-run in Battambang’s Sampov Loun district on Tuesday.

Police said that a car was trying to pass a truck when it slammed into the moto rider head on.

The driver left the vehicle in the road and fled across some rice fields before the arrival of police, who blamed the accident on excessive speed and the driver’s negligence. RASMEY KAMPUCHEA
