Man shot in stomach over traffic argument

A traffic spat turned into a gun attack on Friday, leaving one man hospitalised in Svay Rieng town. Police said the victim had been riding his motorbike to visit a pagoda, when he crashed into two men on another motorbike.

The ensuing argument over who was at fault was quickly brought to a bloody end when one of the pair produced a gun and shot the victim in the stomach. Police say they are working on identifying the men, who sped off after the incident. DEUM AMPIL
