Man takes ‘breaking and entering’ far too literally

A 21-year-old man with an axe to grind was arrested in Phnom Penh’s Sen Sok district on Sunday after the owner of the door he was trying to hack to bits arrived just in time to catch him in the act.

Authorities said the homeowner arrived outside his abode to be greeted by the sight of a strange man bludgeoning his door to bits with an axe. Police were promptly called and the suspect was sent to jail. DEUM AMPIL
