Man tries to slice and dice when denied ice

A junkie son’s temper tantrum got the whole neighbourhood involved in Kandal’s Sa’ang district on Saturday.

Police said the man had asked his mother for $5 to buy some dinner, but the mother refused, assuming – probably correctly – that her son would use the cash to score drugs.

Enraged at the refusal, the son allegedly grabbed a sword and went on a rampage, threatening neighbours and destroying property before police arrived and hauled him off to court.
