Man’s best friend but burglars’ worst enemy

Three burglars in Banteay Meanchey’s Poipet town were thwarted by the homeowner’s dog on Monday night, leading to their arrest.

According to authorities, the homeowner was not at home, but luckily the barking dog alerted a neighbour, who saw the men using metal tools to pry open a door.

Naturally, police were called to the scene, managing to arrest all the suspects before they completed the break in. The trio has been sent to court.
